We do recommend booking in advance! If we know you’re coming, we can have your gear ready and get you out on the water without a hitch. Pre-booked guests also get priority over walk-ins, which comes in handy during busy times (like sunny weekends and after-work hours). That said, if you're more of a drop-in kind of person, that works too! We'll do our best to fit you in. Just keep in mind - rentals can book up quickly, so reserving ahead helps make sure you don't miss out.

Paid parking is available right outside our facility, at the Jericho Sailing Centre. Other paid street parking can be found on NW Marine Drive, near the West Point Grey Community Centre and along Locarno and Spanish Banks beaches. Some free street parking is available in nearby residential areas, about a 10–15 minute walk away.

We recommend bringing a waterproof watch or something to keep track of time while you’re out on the water. If you don’t have one, no worries - we’ve got waterproof phone bags for sale so you can bring your phone along safely. Just a heads up: if you’re more than 10 mins late getting your gear back, we will extend your booking. 

We have outdoor cubbies where you are welcome to leave bigger non-valuable items that you don’t want to take on the water. Our secure storage space is limited, but we can take small valuables like phones, keys and wallets. There are also some day-use lockers available if you bring your own lock.

We have both indoor and outdoor changerooms, hot showers (yes, outdoor/indoor!), plumbed-in washrooms and porta-potties. Many of these services are found in the Jericho Sailing Centre main building.

You can change your rental booking up to 4 hours before your scheduled time. Program rescheduling is available up to 48 hours before the program start time. To make changes to your booking, call us at 604-224-0165 or email info@windsure.com, we're happy to help!

Yes! We have special deals available. Our Midweek Special offers 50% off rentals of two hours or more on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. We also offer a Rental Pass, which gives you five hours of equipment rentals for the price of four. Use your Rental Pass on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday to get even more value! If you’re looking for unlimited rental access, check out our Season Passes.

Yes we do! We offer paddleboarding, windsurfing and skimboarding group lessons. We can accommodate up to 20 people for Windsurfing, 60 for Paddleboarding, and 50 for Skimboarding. Contact us at info@windsure.com to make your booking.

At Windsure Adventure Watersports you’ll be out on the water at laid-back Jericho Beach with the mountains as your backdrop, trying out a new watersport for the first time or practicing an old one. When our founder started Windsure in 1977 he chose Jericho Beach for a reason: it’s the ideal spot for learning. Located in a protected bay in West Point Grey, Jericho gets just the right amount of wind for beginners and intermediates. Even more, there is no motorboat launching at Jericho Sailing Centre and so there is no boat traffic, providing you with an opportunity to safely practice in a bay clear of distractions AND easily accessible from the city centre.
