A one week long Canadian Yachting Association
certified program. These camps are recommended
for all children 12 years and older, and/or
weighing at least 80 lbs / 36kg. Bring a bathing
suit, towel and an old pair of sneakers.
The equipment provided includes Windsurfer,
complete wetsuit and lifejacket. There are
changing rooms, shower facilities, lockers,
lecture rooms and a restaurant serving hot
and cold meals.

Novice: (Ages
12-17)
The Basic Windsurfing Program, including theory,
steering, tacking, windforce, weather prediction,
simulator training, knots and hitches, launching,
storage, self-rescue techniques, safety rules
and right of way rules.

Intermediate:
(Ages 12-17)
The objective of Windsure's Level II Youth
Camp is to teach students higher level windsurfing
skills. Such skills include boom tacks, power
jybes, beach starts, as well as an emphasis
on upwind sailing. Students will also learn
how to use a harness. Formal evaluations are
conducted at the end of each course giving
students a sense of achievement and skill
level.
